Head of Arsenal's youth development Liam Brady would like to see half the first team consist of home grown players. The youth team play their FA Cup semi-final at Highbury tonight, and Brady speaks to Soccernet about his players' possibilities to progress. "When I took over three and a half years ago, we started off a long-term plan," Brady says, "and now, with the standard of boys at the club, it won't be long before we do get boys in the first team." The legendary former player, who was himself a part of Arsenal youth teams in the 70s, continues, "...we would like to get it back to the days when fifty percent of the first team would be home grown."
