Arsenal Ladies (2) 4 - 1 (0) Croydon Ladies
Underhill, Saturday 1st April 2000
Women's League Cup final
Arsenal ladies put the disappointment of the FA Cup semi
behind them to score an emphatic win over Croydon in their
defence of the League Cup.
Ciara Grant scored a spectacular 25-yard opener after 11
minutes, and a close-range Kisty Pealling header made it 2 just before half time.
Goals from Marianne Spacey and Claire Wheatley made it 4, ten minutes into the second half. Croydon could just manage the one consolation goal after that.
