FA Premier reserve league south, Mon 23 October 2000
Chelsea 1 Arsenal 0
The Arsenal youngsters lost by a single goal to a strong Chelsea reserve team, currently top of the southern section and featuring the likes of Lambourde, Bogarde, Morris, Jokanovic and Gudjohnsen. The official Chelsea site credits the goal to an Arsenal defender, after Ambrosetti's shot rebounded off keeper Taylor. Upson & Stepanovs were again due to form the central defensive partnership, with Ashley Cole also getting a run out. More when we have it on the ArseWeb reserve team page.
