Not content with putting ten past Liverpool in the away game earlier on in the season the Arsenal Ladies put an additional one past them in the home game today.
Final score from Potters Bar -
Arsenal Ladies - 11 (Eleven) Liverpool Ladies - 0
The scorers were Angela Banks x 5, Jayne Ludlow x 2, Ciara Grant, Sian Williams, Clare Wheatley and Ellen Maggs.
The Ladies next scheduled game is away next week (10/12/2000) at Doncaster Belles. The Belles are currently in second place in the Premiership four points behind Arsenal with two games in hand - one of those games is still against Arsenal at Borehamwood / Potters Bar / Colney Heath which is still waiting to be re-arranged following the postponement earlier in the year. However the away game next Sunday should give a good indication of the final resting place of the Ladies Premiership trophy this season. |
