Arsenal have been drawn at home again in the 4th round of the FA Youth Cup, against Middlesbrough. According to the FA site the tie will be played next Tuesday, 12 December at Highbury, kickoff 7pm. Update: this date has now been confirmed, entry to the West Stand upper tier is £3. Tonight's (Mon 11th Dec) reserve game against Wimbledon at Borehamwood has been postponed, presumably due to the waterlogged pitch again.
Two of Arsenal's youngsters played in the midweek friendly internationals against France. Jermaine Pennant played for the U17s in their 1-0 win, and according to this report on the FA site, was England's most dangerous player in the first half. He was substituted by the wonderfully named Kalem Mooniaruck 20 minutes into the second.
Justin Hoyte, a regular for Arsenal's under 17 team this season, played at right back for the England U16 team in their 2-0 defeat to France, and was substituted 15 minutes from time. See this report for more.
