Final score from Borehamwood in the Ladies FA Cup:
Arsenal Ladies - 1 Doncaster Belles - 0
Marieanne Spacey scored what was to be the eventual winner in the 14th minute of the first half. Both teams had a player sent off each with Jayne Ludlow of the Arsenal Ladies leaving the pitch in the first half following a challenge on the 'Belles keeper which was deemed by the referee to be punishable by a red card. The teams became evenly matched in the second half when a 'Belles defender was sent off for a challenge on Spacey.
However the Ladies held out for a well-earned victory and will now face either Bristol Rovers, Southampton or Fulham in the semi-final(s).
Much fun was had by most of the crowd rushing into the bar at Borehamwood every time there was a cheer from the bar just to see who had scored at Highbury!
