FA Premier Reserve league south, Mon 19 Feb 2001
Arsenal 1 West Ham 2
Arsenal scorer: Kuffour 50
Defeat against the league's bottom team, albeit one sprinkled with first team squad members such as Ian Pearce, Tihinen, Moncur, Kamara and Diawara. For Arsenal, Silvinho made his comeback from his recent injury, and Upson played his second game after his recent back injury, though was subbed at half time with what was hopefully a superficial leg injury. The team otherwise consisted of youngsters, Joe Kuffour getting the goal early in the second half before West Ham scored twice to take the points.
