The date for the first leg of the FA Youth cup semi-final against Ipswich has been set. According to the FA site it will be played at Highbury on Thursday 5 April, kickoff 7pm (the day after the Champions League QF home leg). The date for the 2nd leg presumably hasn't been arranged yet.
An U17 academy league result from last weekend:
Southampton 1 Arsenal 2
Title rivals West Ham also won, and maintain a 1 point lead over the young Gunners.
The U19 game at Millwall was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, and rearranged for Tue 27 March, ko 1pm. See the ArseWeb youth team page for further stats and details.
John Halls, Jermaine Pennant and Rohan Ricketts are all in the England U18 squad for tonight's European championship qualifier against Poland. The match kicks off at 8pm at White Hart Lane. Don't let that put you off though, entry is only £3, free for accompanied children. [Oops, I wrote that yesterday (Weds) in the mistaken belief that the match was on Weds. In fact it is tonight (Thursday 22 Apr). Apologies for any inconvenience, etc...]
