The under-19s maintain their position at the top of their regional league with 2 games to go.
The under-17s meanwhile went down to what would probably be termed a shock defeat in their first playoff match. As far as we can ascertain, the initial stage of the playoffs is another set of group matches, with 8 groups of 4, each team playing the others once. Arsenal are in a group with Watford and Crystal Palace (Watford won their match on Saturday 2-1), and QPR. The group winners presumably go forward to the knockout stages, so Arsenal now have to win their last 2 games to reach the last 8.
