And before you all start to telephone all those lovely ticket agencies it is England Ladies versus Scotland Ladies (well you should have known that by checking out the name of the person submitting this news piece). The game as part of the warmup for this years European Championships that England have qualified for will take place on Sunday May 27th at Bolton's Reebok Stadium with a 12 noon kickoff. Expect to see Marieanne Spacey, Angela Banks and maybe Casey Stoney, Kirsty Pealling and Faye White from the Arsenal Ladies at some point in the England strip and maybe Pauline MacDonald in the Scottish strip.
And believe it or not it will be shown live on Sky Sports but we're not sure which channel yet.
Meanwhile the dates have been announced for the Ladies World Cup qualifiers which are:
27 Sep 01 - Away to Germany
04 Nov 01 - Home to Holland
24 Nov 01 - Away to Portugal
24 Feb 02 - Home to Portugal
23 Mar 02 - Away to Holland
19 May 02 - Home to Germany
There is also another home friendly against a team yet to be announced on 23 Aug 01. Venues for all games to be arranged.
Top teams in each four groups qualify for the World Cup finals plus a fifth team following a two-tiered play-off system featuring all the runners up.
