This Saturday the Arsenal Ladies will be taking on Doncaster Belles in the Ladies version of the Charity Shield. The match is being played at Kingstonian FC, Kingsmeadow Stadium, 422a Kingston Road, Surrey KT1 3PB with a 12 noon kickoff. Tickets are £3 for adults and £1 for children and are available on 0208-974-5712. However the Arsenal Sports Centre may have some vouchers for the game still available - one voucher gets you four tickets. The game is also live on Sky Sports 1 from 11-55am.
Meanwhile the Arsenal Ladies squad has been strengthened with the arrival of defender Jess Wright from Berkhamsted, goalkeeper Toni-Anne Wayne, defender/midfielder Leanne Champ from Millwall and Japanese international (a friend for Inamoto perhaps?) Megumi Ogawa. Both Nina Downham and Grianne Kierans have left for Charlton and don't forget it's the final season for Arsenal ladies legend Marieanne Spacey. |
