The draw has been made for the quarter finals of the Ladies League Cup and Arsenal Ladies will travel to Tranmere or Barry Town on November 11th. Tranmere's match against Barry Town will be played this Sunday 4th as it was postponed from last Sunday due to Barry Town loosing most of their players for the Wales against Scotland international. A match against Tranmere would be a repeat of last years final which Arsenal Ladies won 3-0.
The Ladies also avoided Fulham in the draw and with the final itself likely to be held in the "south" (last years was at the Northern venue of Chester City) it could end up with those two teams in the final. Obviously both teams would need to win their quarter-final and subsequent semi-final for this to happen. Of course they could also get drawn together in the semi-final.
There isn't a game this Sunday for our Ladies. The scheduled away game at Brighton has been postponed as Casey Stoney, Kirsty Pealling, Angela Banks and Faye White have been called up for the England squad who face Holland at Grimsby Town on Sunday. This game is also being shown live on one of the Sky Sports channels.
