Arsenal Ladies are playing two forthcoming Premiership games in 48 hours in an attempt to whittle down the current backlog. They are against Brighton on Friday November 30th with a 7:45pm kickoff at the Withdean Stadium and then Southampton on Sunday December 2nd with a 2pm kickoff at St Marys (yes - the big blokes stadium!).
This Sunday's (25th November) game - away to Doncaster Belles - has already been added to the backlog as England Ladies are away in Portugal.
The Ladies are currently 4th in the Premiership - 4 points behind the leaders - but having only played 5 Premiership games so far this season they have at least 4 games in hand!
Last Sunday in the London County Cup a mixed side of first teamers, reserves and youths beat Wimbledon Ladies 5-1 at Kingstonian to move forward into the semi final. The goals came from Emma Coss, Eartha Pond x 2, Megumi Ogawa and the obligatory long range 40 yard smash from Marieanne Spacey.
