Final score from Borehamwood in the Ladies European Cup Quarter Final First Leg:
Arsenal Ladies - 1 Toulouse Ladies - 1
Arsenal opened the scoring on 40 minutes when Kirsty Pealing crossed the ball for Ciara Grant to head into the back of the net.
In the second half Marieanne Spacey nearly scored the second goal from a trademark free-kick that the Toulouse keeper just palmed over the bar.
Emma Byrne in the Arsenal goal had made a number of good saves before a mix-up happened with the defence that allowed Sandrine Rouquet of Toulouse to even the score.
Because of an England game next week the Ladies next game will actually be the away leg in a fortnights time which is being played at the Toulouse Rugby Club with an 8pm kickoff (UK time).
It's not often that you see UEFA's yellow fair play flag flying from one of the Borehamwood grounds floodlight stands!
