FA Premier Reserve League South,
Wed 17 April 2002
Arsenal 2 Ipswich 1
Arsenal scorers: Jeffers, Aliadiere
The reserves returned to the top of the table with a win at Underhill last night over title rivals Ipswich. A team featuring a mix of internationals and youths came back from a goal down, Jeffers equalising in the 1st half and Aliadiere getting the 2nd half winner. Ashley Cole played 70 mins in his comeback from injury; Jeffers, Parlour and Inamoto all featured as well.
Arsenal are a point ahead of rivals Ipswich and Derby, but have only one game left while Ipswich & Derby have 3 and 2 respectively. See the ArseWeb reserve team page for the table and further stats.
