The under-19s won their last game of the league season to win their regional title by 12 points from second placed Chelsea. They now face Ipswich Town away next Saturday, in the semi-final playoff, for the right to meet either Liverpool or Nottingham Forest in the final.
Meanwhile the under-17s lost a close fought quarter-final playoff game against Newscastle, despite taking the lead inside the first minute.
