Semi-pro's taking on the pro's tonight by Mark
on 8/8/02 at 12:57
this is story 428 of 741 in this topic to date
Just a reminder that tonight it's the Ladies Community Shield being played at Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road ground (or the Matchroom Stadium as it's now known). Kickoff is at 7:35pm and it's £3 for adults and £1 for children. There's also a special family ticket at £5 (for up to 2 adults and 3 children). The match itself will feature the semi-pro's of Arsenal Ladies versus the pro's of Fulham Ladies. Expect to see ex-gooner Ladies - Rachel Yankey and Marieanne Spacey in the Fulham line-up (although Arseweb have had information that Marieanne Spacey may be missing from the line-up having received a knee injury in a pre-season game last weekend). The game will also be live on Sky Sports 1.

See if you can spot me tonight - I'll be wearing the official Arseweb shirt which can be purchased via this link here.

Also according to a posting on the official site here the Arsenal mens squad are sponsoring the respective positions of the Arsenal Ladies so when you see one of the Arsenal midfield ladies with a red stripe in her hair tonight you'll know who's sponsoring her!
