The Arsenal reserves got their first point of the season after drawing 2-2 with West Ham. Francis Jeffers played the full 90 minutes, and may be selected in the first team squad for Saturday. Jeffers' rival Jeremie Aliadiere scored the first Arsenal goal, while Jermaine Pennant impressed with the pass for the Frenchman as well as a goal of his own. Brazilian midfielder Paulinho, coming on as a substitute, had a decisive free kick goal disallowed before full time. There's a lineup and report at arsenal.com. |
