Final score from St. Albans:
Arsenal Ladies - 3 Everton Ladies - 2
It was a topsy turvy game which started with Everton opening the scoring, Arsenal equalising, Arsenal going ahead, Everton equalising and then Arsenal getting the winner in the 58th minute. Goals came from Pauline MacDonald, Angie Banks and Ellen Maggs.
Arsenal Ladies are now second in the Premiership - two points behind leaders Fulham - but have two games in hand to play.
The next game for Arsenal Ladies is the delayed League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday which will take place at St. Albans on Sunday October 13th with a 2pm kickoff. The winners take on Leeds at home in the next round.(This posting will be updated if the venue, date and kickoff change).
