Arsenal Ladies - 11 Sheffield Wednesday Ladies - 0
In blustery and wet conditions and without the England quartet of Faye White, Leanne Champ, Julie Fletcher and Kirsty Pealling Arsenal storm through to the next round of the Ladies League Cup following goals from Freddie Ludlow x 4, Angie Banks x 3, Ellen Maggs x 2, Gemma Ritchie (a direct hit corner kick) and an own goal. The next round is in a fortnight on October 27th again at St. Albans against Leeds Ladies.
The Ladies next game is also at home in the Premiership this Sunday (20th) against Brighton with a 2pm kickoff.
