It's been a mixed week even for the Arsenal Ladies with a win followed by a surprise defeat:
Last Sunday Arsenal Ladies beat Brighton by 4-1 at St Albans with the goals coming from Faye White, Angie Banks, Ellen Maggs and Freddie Ludlow.
However on Wednesday night they suffered a surprise defeat 1-0 away to Birmingham.
It's not all doom and gloom though because the Ladies nearest rivals Fulham who are currently top of the table had to rely on a last minute equaliser for a point at Charlton. Fulham have now dropped 4 points out of their maximum available whereas Arsenal have dropped the 3 points and have plenty of games in hand. Arsenal take on Fulham by the way on the evening of Thursday 7th November at St Albans.
The Ladies next game though is the 2nd round of the League Cup against Leeds this Sunday 27th October with a 2pm kick-off at St. Albans. |
