FA Premier Reserve League South, Wed 12 February 2003
Ipswich 3 Arsenal 0
Guillaume Warmuz made his Arsenal debut and Freddie Ljungberg continued his comeback, but an otherwise young Arsenal team were beaten at Portman Road last night. The scoreline apparently flattered the Tractor Boys who featured the experienced McGreal, Finidi George, Reuser, Naylor and Armstrong in their line-up.
See this report from the East Anglian Daily News, and presumably a similar story from Arsenal.com later. The young Gunners slip to 4th in the league. See the ArseWeb reserve team page for the full table and further team details and stats. |
