FA Premier Academy League U17, Sat 1 March 2003
Arsenal 5 Coventry City 1
Comfortable wins against the Sky Blues for both teams. The under-19s maintain a 4 point lead, though challengers Aston Villa and Ipswich both also won. The former have a game in hand and the title could be decided in the final league match of the season between Arsenal and Villa.
The under-17s stay in 2nd place, but third placed Leicester also won and are a point behind with a game in hand. The young Gunners play their final league game of the season next Saturday, away at West Ham, before the play-offs - in the form of mini-leagues of 4 - start.
