FA Premier Reserve League South, Tue 18 March 2003
Southampton 1 Arsenal 3
Arsenal scorers: Pennant 20p, Thomas 24, Bentley 74
A good away win at St Mary's stadium last night for the young Gunners team, against a side featuring the experience of Jones, Benali, Higginbottom & Davies. See this report on the official Saints site, which credits the 3rd goal to a Southampton defender, rather than Bentley as Arsenal.com does.
Arsenal move to 2nd in the table, though 3rd placed Fulham have 3 games in hand. See the ArseWeb reserve team page for the full table, team details and further stats. |
