An excellent effort by the U17 team in a recent tournament
near St Etienne finished with a penalty loss to Dakar
in the final.
The competition featured more illustrious names such as
Marseilles (beaten 2-1 by the Gunners) & Red Star
(beaten 2-0), as well as Quality Streets such as Montelimar
(treated to a 7-0 thrashing).
From the AFCi report, it would appear that striker
Jay Bothroyd was our star, netting 7 times in the 5
