Arsenal Ladies bowed out of the FA Cup last Sunday against Charlton Ladies by 1-0 in the semi-final. Charlton had already put Arsenal out of the London County Cup earlier on in the week by 2-0. This time round it was a penalty from former Ladies gooner Justine Lorton which sent them out.
However this Sunday (30/3/3) Arsenal take on Fulham in the Ladies League Cup final which is taking place at Swindon's County Ground with a 2:15pm kickoff and the game is also being shown live on Sky Sports 1. Fulham will finally be featuring former Arsenal Ladies legend Marieanne Spacey who signed for them at the beginning of the season but due to having had a long term injury has yet to significantly play for them. |
