FA Premier Reserve League South, Tues 6 May 2003
Arsenal 1 West Ham 2
Arsenal scorer: Barrett 39 (pen)
An Arsenal team featuring 7 teenagers lost their faint hope of winning the league at Underhill last night. Graham Barrett, on his return from loan at Brighton scored a penalty equaliser after Jerome Thomas had been brought down, but it wasn't enough. The young Gunners, with the likes of Garry and Pennant withdrawn to play in the Premiership game this evening and other regulars such as Bentley, Volz, Svard and Aliadiere out injured, will now finish 4th.
