Arsenal Ladies beat Ipswich Town Ladies by 4-0 in the first round of the League Cup yesterday at St. Albans. Goals coming from Jo Potter, Emma Thomas and two more from the midfield engine of Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow.
The girls now face Sunderland at home on October 12th in the next round.
Meanwhile the scheduled Premiership game this Wednesday at home to Charlton Athletic Ladies has been postponed. |
