The Arsenal Reserves lost their season opener at Leicester City. Keeper Stuart Taylor fumbled the ball on the goal line for Stuart Wilson to score Leicester's first goal, while Leicester's second was an own goal by Arsenal youth player Rhys Weston. More than 8,000 people saw Leicester win the game 2-0. Arsenal's lineup included Nelson Vivas, Christopher Wreh and Paolo Vernazza. Omer Riza, who spent the latter part of last season on loan in Holland, was on the subs bench. Full report at AFCi. |
