Arsenal Ladies beat Stockport County by 3-0 in yesterdays Ladies FA Cup 4th Round match at St. Albans. The first goal came from Leanne Champ in the 18th minute but the Lady Gunners had to wait until deep into the second half before sealing the win when further goals came from Faye White (75th minute) and Yvonne Tracey (80th minute). Fair play to Stockport County - recently promoted to the Division One North league - for an admirable display.
Arsenal Ladies now face an away trip to........(wait for it)....Middlesboro in the next round (well it had to be really!) on Sunday Jan 25th. However the tie of the next round has to be Charlton Ladies v Fulham Ladies - a repeat of last years cup final and featuring the current top two in the Ladies Premiership (well at least one of them will go out.......)
