Arsenal Ladies are through to the FA Cup Semi-Final after beating Cardiff by a massive 11-1 in a game played at the London Colney training ground due to a water-logged pitch at St. Albans. The goalscorers for Arsenal were Scottish International Julie Fleeting with a hat-trick and a brace each for Jo Potter, Ellen Maggs, Jo Lorton and Leanne Champ.
Arsenal now face Bristol Rovers (at a venue to be arranged) in the semi-final on March 14th for the right to be in the final against Birmingham or Charlton who face each other in the other semi-final. |
