Support the ladies on Monday as they aim for treble by Rupe

The men may have missed out on a treble this season but Arsenal Ladies are aiming for the second part of a treble of their own on Bank Holiday Monday.

They've already won the London County Cup, brushing Fulham aside 4-0. And in the league there's one game left: a winner-takes all match at home against Fulham again (see this piece for details, the date of the title-deciding match is yet to be arranged). Actually, Fulham first need to win their other remaining game, against Birmingham on Sunday, in order to set this up.

On Monday at Loftus Road they take on Charlton Athletic in the FA Women's Cup final. It is Arsenal Ladies 6th appearance in the final and they haven't lost one yet. Charlton will be no pushover, though. They're currently top of the league and will win it if that Arsenal-Fulham game finishes as a draw.

The manager Vic Akers says, "The support from the crowd really spurred us in our last Cup Final, against Fulham in 2001. It's going to be a close contest again on Monday, and the girls will really need the crowd's support to make this a sixth successful Final. We would all really appreciate the backing of Arsenal fans, so get along to Loftus Road help us make it another day to celebrate!"

Kick off is at 1pm, next Monday May 3rd, and tickets can be booked on the QPR ticket line 0870 112 1967 at just £3 for adults (£5 on the day) and £1 for kids and OAPs. Group rates are available too for schools and clubs - just ring the number for details.

The Ladies will be in the away kit so wear yellow and blue!
