Arsenal Ladies lost 1-0 to Charlton Ladies in the Ladies version of the Community Shield last Wednesday. The goal from Charlton came just before half-time. Arsenal had plenty of chances to not only equalise but to win the game but were guilty on a lack of finishing. Hopefully all will be made better by the time of the next game which will be the Premiership starter for Arsenal and again its against Charlton Ladies with a 12 noon kickoff this Sunday (22nd) at Borehamwood.
So what happened yesterday I hear you ask - well amazingly the away game at Doncaster Rovers Belles was called off because of a waterlogged pitch at Doncaster. They've obviously had more than just a few showers in South Yorkshire recently.
Results from other games:
Leeds United LFC 0 v 8 Everton LFC
Fulham FC Ladies 0 v 3 Bristol Rovers WFC
Charlton Athletic LFC 3 v 1 Liverpool FC Ladies

So after one game the Ladies Premiership looks like this:

2 Bristol Rovers WFC 1 3
3 Charlton Athletic LFC 1 3
4 Birmingham City Ladies FC 1 3
5 Arsenal FC Ladies 0 0
