Following the first two games which ended up as draws Arsenal Ladies finally won their first game away to Liverpool last Sunday by 4-0. Goals coming from Justine Lorton with a brace and Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow and Ciara Grant with a goal apiece.

The Ladies have now travelled to Stockholm for their group games in the Ladies UEFA Cup. They will play the Athletic Club of Spain on Tuesday September 14th, Aegina of Greece on Thursday September 16th and the Swedish champions Djurgarden / Alvsjo on Saturday September 18th. The top two from the group of four will qualify for the quarter-finals.
