Arsenal Ladies scored a late penalty to give a final score of 2-2 against the Athletic Club of Spain in their first group game in the Ladies UEFA Cup. Ciara Grant scored the vital penalty in the 86th minute with the other earlier goal coming from Faye White who is back from injury.
The other group game ended up with Djurgardens of Sweden beating Aegina of Greece by 5-0.
Arsenal Ladies now face Aegina tomorrow (Thursday) and Djurgardens on Saturday.
