FA Premier Reserve League South, Thu 29 September 2004
Arsenal 2 Ipswich Town 1
Arsenal scorers: Owusu-Abeyi 15, O'Donnell 49
Djourou sent off, 24 mins
The reserves win their 4th match out of 4 this season at Underhill last night to move to the top of the league. And they did it with 10 men after centre half Johann Djourou was harshly sent off in the incident in which he conceded the penalty which led to Ipswich equalising Quincy's early goal, the first goal the young Gunners have conceded this season. Stephen O'Donnell got the winner early in the 2nd half after another Quincy shot was blocked by the keeper.
