FA Premier Reserve League South, Mon 8 November 2004
Chelsea 0 Arsenal 2
Scorers: O'Donnell 25, Stokes 47 pen
A young Arsenal team featuring only one player too old for the under-18s beat an equally inexperienced Chelsea side at Aldershot Town's Recreation Ground last night to move above Charlton (who play tonight) on goal difference at the top of the league. With most of the regular reserve squad on Carling Cup duty, five of the team that kicked off were making their first starts for the second string, but they nonetheless proved too strong for a Chelsea side languishing near the bottom of the league.
See reports on Arsenal.com and the official Chelsea site for more details, and check the ArseWeb reserve team page for an up to date table and further stats.
