FA Premier Reserve League South, Mon 22 November 2004
Norwich City 2 Arsenal 1
Arsenal scorer: Larsson 19
The young reserve team lost their unbeaten record at Carrow Road last night, going down to a late goal against a Norwich side packed with experience. The Canaries included the likes of Thomas Helveg & Gary Docherty, and thus could boast 4 internationals with over 200 caps between them, compared to the young Gunners who started with 9 teenagers and 2 twenty-year olds. Arsenal welcomed back Frankie Simek from loan at QPR by taking the lead through Sebastian Larsson, but conceded an equaliser late in the first half, and the winner 2 minutes from time.
