Arsenal Ladies close the gap at the top of the Premiership to just three points and also have three games in hand.
After a goal-less first half Ciara Grant opened the scoring against the Gas Ladies from the penalty spot following a handball. Even though the Bristol Rovers goalkeeper saved the original shot Grant followed up on the rebound. The victory however was not confirmed until Julie Fleeting scored the second goal five minutes before the end.
