on 6/12/04 at 20:59
this is story 636 of 741 in this topic to date
Final score from Borehamwood:

Arsenal Ladies - 3 Doncaster Rovers Belles - 0

Julie Fleeting scored all three goals in Arsenal's win over bottom-placed Doncaster Rovers Belles. This was the last home game of the year and put Arsenal into second place in the Ladies Premiership three points behind leaders Charlton but with plenty of games in hand.

Other results from the Ladies Premiership:

Liverpool FC Ladies 0 v 1 Charlton Athletic LFC
Bristol Rovers WFC 3 v 2 Fulham FC Ladies
Birmingham City Ladies FC 4 v 0 Bristol City WFC
Everton LFC 1 v 3 Leeds United LFC

And so the Premiership Table now looks like this:

1 Charlton Athletic LFC 13 29
2 Arsenal FC Ladies 10 26
3 Leeds United LFC 14 26
4 Bristol Rovers WFC 13 25
5 Everton LFC 13 24
6 Birmingham City Ladies FC 11 21
7 Fulham FC Ladies 12 8
8 Liverpool FC Ladies 15 7
9 Bristol City WFC 14 6
10 Doncaster Rovers Belles WFC 13 6

For the final games of 2004 the Ladies will be away to Birmingham next Sunday (12th December) in the League Cup semi-final and then away to Doncaster Rovers Belles on Sunday 19th December in the Ladies Premiership (Note - the Arsenal Ladies v Fulham Ladies game that was scheduled for that date will now be played midweek sometime in 2005!). They return to Borehamwood on Sunday 5th January for their Ladies FA Cup match against Wimbledon Ladies.
