Arsenal Ladies have won the first of the four major trophies they are still in contention with this season. A 3-0 victory over Charlton Ladies today at Brentford's Griffin Park ground gave them the Ladies League Cup. Julie Fleeting opened the scoring in the first half with a header from a Kirsty Pealling cross before captain Faye White's brace in the second half secured victory.
Arsenal Ladies are still in the Premiership title race and the semi-finals of the Ladies FA Cup and the Ladies UEFA Cup. |
