FA Premier Reserve League South, Tue 8 March 2005
Coventry City 3 Arsenal 2
Arsenal scorers: Stokes 40pen, 51
A young and rather makeshift looking team went down to a second successive league defeat at Highfield Road last night. Emmanuel Eboué made his reserve team debut at centre back and Jeremie Aliadière continued his comeback, but bar Stephen O'Donnell the rest of the team were all qualified for the under-18s. Former Gunners reserve striker Graham Barrett scored twice for Coventry, with young Irishman Anthony Stokes twice equalising before the Sky Blues got the winner midway through the second half.
See this Coventry web site report and the Arsenal.com report for more details. Check the ArseWeb reserve team page for further stats and the updated table. The young Gunners remain 4th with games in hand on the teams above them.
