FA Premier Reserve League South, Mon 21 March 2005
Arsenal 1 Southampton 2
Arsenal scorer: Lupoli 31
An experienced Arsenal side, albeit featuring 4 players (Gilberto, Simek, Skulason, Cregg) continuing comebacks from injury, lost their 2nd game in 2 days on Monday night, to a young Southampton side. Arturo Lupoli scored a first half equaliser, his 24th goal in 29 games in all competitions this season, but the young Gunners couldn't find a second after conceding a 2-1 half time deficit. A win would have taken Arsenal above Southampton to second place in the table.
