Arsenal Ladies won their first game of the new Premiership season by beating Chelsea Ladies at Hampton and Richmond FC by 2-0. The goals all came in the first half with Ciara Grant netting a penalty and Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow getting the second just before half time.

Bristol - 0 Everton - 0
Doncaster Belles - 1 Sunderland - 3
Leeds - 2 Fulham - 1
Birmingham were supposed to have played Charlton but the Midlanders season start has been delayed for four weeks due to financial problems. |
