Arsenal Ladies won a pulsating Premiership game by 4-3 against Leeds United Ladies at Borehamwood. Leeds Ladies took a two goal lead before goals from Lianne Sanderson and Gemma Davison made the scores level. Rachel McArthur then gave Arsenal the lead before Leeds equalised. Sanderson then scored her second a few minutes from the end of time to give Arsenal all the three points from the game.
Thus the Ladies Premiership, headed by Arsenal Ladies, looks like this:
1 Arsenal FC Ladies 2 6
2 Sunderland WFC 2 4
3 Charlton Athletic LFC 1 3
4 Leeds United LFC 2 3
5 Bristol Academy WFC 2 2
6 Everton LFC 1 1
7 Fulham FC Ladies 2 1
8 Chelsea LFC 2 1
9 Birmingham City Ladies FC 0 0
10 Doncaster Rovers Belles WFC 2 0
Scores from the other games were:
Charlton - 1 Doncaster Rovers Belles - 0
Fulham - 1 Bristol Academy - 1
Sunderland - 1 Chelsea - 1
The fallout from Birmingham Ladies financial problems also continues as Arsenal have re-signed back former favourites Alex Scott and Rachel Yankey.
