Arsenal Ladies won their second game in the Ladies UEFA Cup by beating Russian Champions Lada Toliatti by 1-0. Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow scored the only goal in the 77th minute.
It wasn't easy as Kellie Smith was sent off in the 31st minute and so the Ladies played with just 10 players for the last hour. Captain Faye White had to also be substituted having suffered a broken nose.
Brondby beat Wroclaw 3-1 in the other game and so both Brondby and Arsenal qualify as the top two in the group. The two teams still play each other on Saturday to decide who takes top billing in the group and for who goes into what pot for the knockout stages.
