| Ladies devour Wolves in League Cup |

Arsenal Ladies beat Wolves Ladies by 5-0 at Borehamwood yesterday in the delayed League Cup match. Goals came from Alex Scott, a brace from Kelly Smith, Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow and Ciara Grant. The Ladies now face Manchester City away in the next round on Sunday October 23rd.
The Ladies next home game is the UEFA Cup Quarter Final First Leg against Frankfurt Ladies this Saturday - October 8th - with a 1pm kickoff at Barnet Football Club. Frankfurt Ladies feature amongst others Birgit Pirnz from the winning German Ladies Euro 2005 team so this will be provide a stern test for our Ladies.
(In case you're wondering the England mens game against Austria kicks-off at 4pm so there's at least an hour after the Ladies final whistle to get home.......)
