Arsenal Ladies are finally at the top of the Ladies Premiership following a 4-1 away win at Leeds last Sunday. Our Ladies were 1-0 down before a Lianne Sanderson free-kick equalised the scoring and further goals from Rachel Yankey, a Kelly Smith penalty and a second from Sanderson confirmed the win.
Mid-week the Ladies also cruised through to the County Cup semi-final following a crushing 9-0 away win against Wimbledon. The scorers this time being a hat-trick from Rachel McArthur, a brace from McGrath and single goals from Sian Larkin, Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow, Yvonne Tracy and Ciara Grant.
The Ladies Premiership looks like this with Arsenal ahead on goal difference:
