Arsenal Ladies are through to the next round of the Ladies FA Cup. They defeated Aston Villa away by 3-0 last weekend with goals coming from Julie Fleeting, Lianne Sanderson (penalty) and Ciara Grant. The draw for the next round puts them away again this time in a London derby against Chelsea which will be played at Hampton and Richmond FC on Sunday Feb 12th.
Arsenal Ladies will also face Charlton Ladies in the Ladies League Cup Final on March 5th - the venue has just been announced as the Causeway Stadium - home of Wycombe Wanderers with a 3pm kickoff.
The Ladies are also in action this afternoon with an away Premiership game at Sunderland - the final score of which has just come through with a 6-1 victory for our Ladies. The scorers were a brace from Rachel McArthur, Julie Fleeting, Lianne Sanderson, Ciara Grant and an own-goal.
In the only other Ladies Premiership game today Chelsea lost 2-1 at home to Everton and so the Ladies Premiership table looks like this with our Ladies now three points clear at the top:
1 Arsenal FC Ladies 12 32
2 Charlton Athletic LFC 11 29
3 Everton LFC 12 29
4 Doncaster Rovers Belles WFC 13 21
5 Bristol Academy WFC 16 18
6 Leeds United LFC 16 17
7 Fulham FC Ladies 15 11
8 Sunderland WFC 10 10
9 Chelsea LFC 16 9
10 Birmingham City Ladies FC 11 8
