Arsenal Ladies took another step forward to regaining their Premiership trophy with a 5-1 win yesterday against Fulham Ladies at Borehamwood. Goals came with a hat-trick from Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow with further goals from Lianne Sanderson and Rachel Yankey MBE.

Other results also went Arsenal's way with Charlton drawing away at Bristol. The full results being:

Arsenal FC Ladies 5 v 1 Fulham FC Ladies
Everton LFC 3 v 1 Birmingham City Ladies FC
Bristol Academy WFC 0 v 0 Charlton Athletic LFC

And so the Ladies Premiership looks like this:

1 Arsenal FC Ladies 13 35
2 Everton LFC 13 32
3 Charlton Athletic LFC 12 30
4 Doncaster Rovers Belles WFC 13 21
5 Bristol Academy WFC 17 19
6 Leeds United LFC 16 17
7 Fulham FC Ladies 16 11
8 Sunderland WFC 10 10
9 Chelsea LFC 16 9
10 Birmingham City Ladies FC 12 8

The Ladies next game is the League Cup Final against Charlton Ladies next Sunday 5th March at Wycombe Wanderers FC with a 3pm kickoff. Tickets are £5 at the gate for adults and £2.50 for concessions.

This will be the first of many games over the next coming weeks against Charlton with the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday March 19th (note - not the 12th as previously informed). This game will be played at Bishops Stortford FC with a 3pm kickoff and then there is the London County Cup Final on Wednesday 22nd March - the Ladies beat Long Lane 9-1 in the semi-final with goals coming from Ciara Grant x 2, Charlotte Gurr x 2, Gemma Davison x 2 with Danielle Buet, Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow and Karen Ray getting a goal apiece.

There's also the small matter of re-arranging the home Premiership game against Charlton!
